A: As we wrap up the year, I really want to take a moment to express some serious gratitude from leadership. It's been an incredible year, and the team's accomplishments are just remarkable.
B: Absolutely. It feels like we've achieved so much, even with everything thrown our way. What stands out to you from this past year?
A: Well, for starters, we completed 16 out of 32 NSO initiatives! That's half of our big strategic goals, and so many of those directly improved how we operate, making things far more efficient.
B: Yeah, those operational improvements have really been felt. And we also had some pretty significant client-facing projects go live, right? The kind of work that directly impacts our users and customers.
A: Exactly. Those client-facing successes are huge. It's a testament to the team's dedication, not just behind the scenes, but also delivering real value and visible impact externally. Seriously, a massive thank you to everyone. Okay, let's transition from those broad achievements and really dive into the specific projects and impressive financial wins we secured in 2025.
B: Perfect. Moving from the 'what' to the 'how' really highlights the team's grit. What were some of the most impactful projects?
A: Major ones include the Payer Sponsored Portal, the Pharmacy AI Agent Assist, and the ACE 6.0 Upgrade. And a huge recognition to Laura's team for their work on the Optum Real UHC Launch and UHC Attachments Expansion. These were huge.
B: Those sound like critical client and operational enhancements. And I'm pretty sure we saw some substantial financial gains from the year too, right?
A: Absolutely. Our cost savings were exceptional. We hit $9.5 million against a $12.16 million forecast, which is 78.13% of our target!
B: That's seriously impactful. What were the biggest drivers behind those savings?
A: Key initiatives like the Conduent Payer Routing Synergies saved $0.76 million, and Availity Non-Par Payer Routing Synergies added $1.5 million.
B: Optimizing our routing, I see.
A: Exactly. Then, the Optum UHC Rebate Elimination contributed $3.3 million in savings for 2025, and the Medicaid RTT Payer Direct Connection delivered $3.9 million. Significant, direct impacts.
B: So a powerful blend of operational efficiencies and substantial structural cost reductions. Fantastic work across the board. Shifting gears, that recent cyber event really exposed some operational inefficiencies, particularly affecting our Pharmacy Network and MedRx. Performance definitely dipped.
A: It was tough, no doubt. But the team's response was swift. We've prioritized gap identification, established monthly governance, and already completed 29 improvement items since January. That's real momentum!
B: Good to see those tangible steps. And on a positive note, our 2026 pipeline is looking robust with a total of $20.09 million.
A: Amazing! What are the biggest initiatives driving that number?
B: Two significant ones are the Availity Contract Renegotiation, projected at $7.322 million, and the Optum to UHC Claims Reduction, targeted for $4.715 million. Huge potential there.
A: That's a powerful forward look. Turning challenges into strong strategic wins.
